Made to Measure Bras - Evening Sessions

Service Description

Do you have trouble finding well fitting bras that look and feel great? Join us in our Bra Making days. We have a maximum of three with no minimum. Grab a friend and come along or come on your own. We will focus on finding your unique custom fit. At the end you will have a me-made bra and ideas you can replicate to create as many different bras as you like. Firstly, we will begin with how to measure correctly to determine wire size, band size and cup size. We will discuss which needles and threads to use in your sewing machine. You will sew your fit band and begin to make any alterations if required. Next you will sew the cups. You will continue working on your cups until they fit just right. You will start to put all of these pieces together. Add the elastic, straps and hook and eyes, making any final adjustments that are needed. There will opportunities to play with fabric that may be new to your sewing repertoire. We will also look at the various fabrics that can be used to create many different looks using the same pattern. What’s Included: Personalised tuition.
